Artist Bio
Kimberly Cockrum is an independent contemporary artist currently residing in Northwest Arkansas. Her practice involves many different styles of fine art including, but not limited to: high to low textured pallet knife paintings and brush paintings with acrylics in a mostly abstract style. Although her focal point is the abstract, all of her work encompasses a range of vibrant color, mood and style. In 2004, Cockrum added custom murals to her repertoire of skills, and has done many different styles over the years for an array of clients in Arkansas.
Cockrum also has a current show at the Arts Factory in Las Vegas. The Arts Factory is the premier location to the area's finest art and local culture in Las Vegas, Nevada. Featuring photographers, painters, graphic designers and other professionals, the Arts Factory is the cornerstone and major draw of First Friday, a monthly arts, entertainment and social block party. Her first showing, in Vegas, occurred at a First Friday in March 2009, and she has been a regular at the Arts Factory since September 2009.
